Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will guide global product promotions, campaigns, and content strategy for the Google Store, which is Google’s owned and operated online hardware store. You will own the overall vision, business case, execution, and roll-out for major campaigns, promotions, and content for all. r hardware products including Pixel phones, Google Home, Chromecast, Chromebooks, Nest, OnHub, and more. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Creative, UX, and Product Marketing, you will also manage the Google Store global home and category pages, examining campaign and business performance, and optimizing user experience onsite

To be successful in this role, you are a strategic thinker, problem solver, and exceptional marketer with experience in executing global campaigns in an e-commerce channel. This is a critical and high-visibility role with opportunity to make direct impact on the future of a rapidly growing product and channel at Google. The role will have significant visibility with directors and executive leadership, and may oversee a team of temps, contractors, or vendors.

Manage strategy and execute high profile campaigns, promotions, and content initiatives monthly to achieve key KPIs for the Google Store.
Oversee positioning and promoting products and campaigns on the global home page of an e-commerce site daily.
Optimize the online shopping experience through site presentation and product merchandising by looking at sales and web analytics, as well as online shopping best practices.
Oversee creation of new landing pages and modules to highlight trends, promotions, and “shopper-centric” thinking.
Partner with Creative, UX, and Demand Generation teams to drive visual strategy, user experience, and external marketing efforts for the Google Store.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of online retail marketing experience.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience in leading and executing high-visibility marketing campaigns. i>Experience working on complex campaigns/projects with multiple senior executive stakeholders; strong cross-functional relationship management skills.
Experience using Google Analytics and creating executive reporting and presentations; strong analytical abilities.
Experience with online merchandising best practices; ability to advise on strategies and product requirements to enhance platform-level merchandising capabilities.
Editorial and creative skills; ability to craft messaging and work with design and production resources to drive creative execution.
Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
