Now offering a $5,000 sign on bonus Merakey is seeking a Full-Time Program Director of Operations to lead our Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) based in Pottsville, PA that covers Columbia, Montour, Union, Snyder, North-Umberland, Schuylkill, Carbon, Monroe, Pike, and Wayne Pennsylvania Counties.

Position Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another Human Services related field. Must be a licensed Behavior Specialist, Social Worker or Counselor.
  • Must have no less than 8 years of experience in the behavioral health field with a minimum of:
  • Two years of experience in a mental health setting; and
  • Two years working with individuals with intellectual disabilities; and
  • Possess at least two years of program management experience.
  • Valid Driver's license, ability to pass appropriate clearances.
Salary Range: $58,000 - $68,000/year + full benefits package

Additional $5,000 sign on bonus!

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team assists individuals with co-occurring intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnosis live and thrive in their homes and communities.

As a member of the DDTT, the Program Director would be responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of the DDTT and the supervision of team members in order to ensure high levels of fidelity to the model and maintain the Merakey mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the DDTT team by providing oversight and direction to team members, assuring a clinically sound service.
  • Support and assist the Dual Diagnosis Team in both the community and within an office setting.
  • Promote the DDTT team in the community in order to assist individuals with receiving medically necessary services.
  • Work directly with a professional team including a Psychiatrist, Nursing staff, Behavior Specialists, and Community Resource Specialists.
  • Provide monitoring of programmatic clinical services and outcomes.
  • Expand learning and development of all team members.
  • Network with professionals in the fields of Intellectual Disability Services and Mental Health Services throughout the region.
  • Ability to work with other departments within the agency to meet individual needs
  • Assure development of client service plans
  • Assure development of client treatment plans
  • Attainment of established financial goals
  • Attend all required meetings inside and outside the agency
  • Collection and interpretation of statistical information to monitor program trends and performance
  • Develop programs and proposals to expand services
  • Direct, manage, maintain, and monitor clinical services
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to program best practices, NHS policies, and outside agencies
  • Ensure compliance to state, local, federal, and contract requirements as well as requirements from payors
  • Evaluation and review of activities and program goals, fidelity to program model
  • Facilitate ongoing assessment, evaluation, and planning of programs
  • Identify opportunities for growth, development and improvement within programs and between other service lines that enhance the coordination of service delivery
  • Implement program procedures and practices that incorporate sound clinical practices and comply with laws, regulations, and prevailing standards of care
  • Interfacing with clinical staff, consumers and consumers' families, other programs, and outside agencies
