The Service Delivery Manager provides management and guidance to the Project Management (PM) team to ensure effective planning and execution of projects to integrate technology solutions into federal agency environments. The Service Delivery Manager is also responsible for providing thought leadership for our clients while providing Program/Project oversight for solution deployment engagements. The Service Delivery Manager will interface regularly with Project Control, Customer Success and Agency Advocacy Managers, and PMO Manager, as well as our Design, Transition and Operations teams to assist in resolving issues, improving processes, and increasing productivity. The Service Delivery Manager performs a critical role in understanding DHS strategic and programmatic needs, proposing effective solutions, and consistently providing high level customer service.

Responsible for planning, organizing and managing a project, or series of smaller projects or a definable piece of a larger program for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual agreements. Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading or assisting with proposals. Projects managed are typically of moderate technical complexity. ManTech is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Request for Service (RFS) Project Manager to join our team in the Reston, VA area to provide unparalleled support to multiple federal agencies through the Continuous Diagnostics & Mitigation (CDM) Program. The CDM Program is a high-profile, high-visibility, cybersecurity modernization and risk management program where you can contribute innovative solutions and consult with many different federal agencies to enhance their Information Assurance (IA) programs and continuous monitoring capabilities.

Responsibilities:
Lead Project Managers to assess client business and technical objectives, determine deliverables, evaluate risk and execute effectively.
Establish and define a process and delivery methodology for how we will deliver all Request for Services (RFS) to the Government in a timely manner. This will include overseeing the development of long- and short-range plans for capability development and schedules.
Provide management oversight for all Request for Services (RFS) and the staff responsible for delivering them to ensure cost, scope and schedule are on track and managed accordingly
In charge of rapidly integrating new projects into the program portfolio.
Ensure ManTech and DEFEND E policies and procedures are followed via audits and other inspection mechanisms.
Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to further develop the Project Management staff.
Provide reporting and feedback to senior management as required.
Monitor and manage the Project Management staff utilization.
Ensure consistency in the delivery of project management services across staff.
Ensure DEFEND E processes and procedures are implemented and adhered to by the Project Management staff.
Lead development and delivery of RFS proposals and/or Rough Orders Magnitude (ROMs) for initiatives as required.
Assist in rectifying issues and improving service in faltering/failing projects.
Work with management to develop strategic plans for operational activity and managing operational plans.

Job Requirements:
Minimum of 15 years of management experience with DHS, FBI, and DoD clients.
Experience collaborating with Agencies to mature operational processes, reduce redundancies, and develop innovative solutions.
Strong project financial acumen.
Experience understanding organizational needs, proposing solutions, and managing project execution efforts designed to deliver overall program benefits for Government Agencies.
Experience collaborating with US Government Agencies, state or local governments, or commercial entities to develop IT service program maturity in accordance with Federal IT mandates and best practices.
Strong experience in ensuring customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and risk management on several medium to large projects.
Must have the ability to obtain an EOD Public Trust, and/or other Government clearances.
Must be a US citizen.
Active PMP certification required.
