Job Requirements:
Independently applies, plans, designs, directs,
organizes, executes, and recommends, related activities
of civil engineering projects within the organization
Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to)

the following:
  • Ability to analyze available data and regulatory
framework to determine feasibility of potential projects
  • Assists Office Leader with the preparation of scope of
services and fee estimation for potential projects
  • Conceives project plans for projects and prepares
design and permitting schedules for the execution of
projects
  • Leads team of engineering intern and CAD designer to
design and permit land development and municipal
infrastructure projects
  • Prepares or directs team in the preparation and
modification of calculations, construction cost
estimates, designs, reports, permit applications,
construction plans and specifications for project
  • Works closely with clients and regulatory agencies to
facilitate approval of permit applications and plans
  • Performs construction observation of projects to
monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering
plans, specifications, and construction and safety
standards
  • Performs project close-out duties and conducts
de-brief with team

Requirements for position:
  • Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Must have Professional Registration (PE)
  • 7 - 15 years of experience
  • Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable
driving history required
  • Management duties include budgeting, scheduling, job
tracking, client interaction, and staff management
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and
written and the ability to forge strong relationships
with clients, professionals and your team members
  • Depending on discipline candidate must possess
Land Development: Experience working with a variety of
development and design projects. Extensive knowledge of
grading, drainage, water and sewer design concepts.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop
Software. Knowledge and comprehension of local, state,
and federal permitting requirements.
Municipal Services: Experience in general civil
engineering with stormwater, site grading, roadway,
water and sewer design. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Land
Development Desktop Software. Knowledge and
comprehension of local, state, and federal permitting
requirements.
