We develop content and technologies specific to the needs of each of the markets that we serve, including Native American and commercial gaming markets in the US, the growing Mexican gaming market, and select international jurisdictions.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for working within detailed-design and sustaining areas of product development and working within a nimble, roadmap-driven, and concurrent development environment.


The duties of this role include but are not limited to the following:

Work closely with Sr. Electrical Engineer with checking designs for requirements conformance and design-for-manufacturing
Design schematic and layout for EGM printed circuit assemblies and wiring harnesses
Interpret and support existing and legacy AGS product designs
Create manufacturing release documents of predesigned/modeled electronic boards and harnesses
Work closely with Software, Firmware, System Engineers, and Game Designers for development of programming and control functions of electronics system elements
Work closely with Operations engineers for release of product definition documents for manufacturing
Work closely with Supply Chain for coordinating prototype orders and first-production orders of new products
Work closely with manufacturing teams for recommending manufacturing procedures and processes
Respond to field issues by determining root cause and implementing corrective actions
Track component manufacturing roadmaps and coordinate product changes in response to end-of-life notices
Record and manage product issue lists, problem reports, and other lifecycle databases and coordinate design changes as necessary

Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency
BS Electrical Engineering degree with 0 to 5 years electrical engineering experience
Experience with Orcad ECAD development and simulation board design software
Familiar with MS SharePoint a plus
Experience with communication and feedback protocols (USB and serial) among and within system components
Experience with firmware programmable devices
Familiar with release process of product data to manufacturing
Familiar with authoring electronics specifications, manufacturing, assembly, and use documentation
Familiar with interpreting OEM electronics specification and application data
Experience with prototype manufacturing, assembly and testing
Familiar with first-article inspection of manufactured electronic assemblies
Experience or familiar with OEM components such as computer motherboards, controllers, bill acceptors, thermal ticket printers, lighting, buttons, fans, sensors, audio devices, switches, and wiring
