Inside Sales Representative (Architectural Lighting)

i2Systems, an aggressively emerging LED technology company is presently seeking an Inside Sales Representative. Your responsibilities would include actively managing sales opportunities through the entire selling process, coordinating customer orders with other departments, and customer service, as well as communicate effectively with the outside sales team.


- Manage new and existing customer accounts from request for quotation through shipment of product including quoting, entering sales orders, coordinating product releases, customer service, etc

- Consistently increase revenue using various tools and methods including cold calling, prospecting and other sales resources to close business

- Achieve and maintain a rapport with customers. Work to provide excellent service on a daily basis

- Learn the features and benefits of i2Systems products to guide clients specify the right products for their applications, and provide technical guidance and know how

- Maintain and manage CRM database for follow-up, lead tracking and business development efforts

- Support outside sales team, independent sales representatives, and distributors

Experience and Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred

- 2-5 years of experience in relevant, lighting/electrical manufacturing or distribution jobs

- Fast learner with demonstrated sales ability and ability to close new business

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Self starter with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

- Ability to build professional relationships over the phone quickly

- Persistence, motivation, professionalism, and a desire to achieve excellence are a must

- Strong Skills in Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook are required

- Knowledge of Sales Force is a plus
