The Cloud Product Security Program Lead for Dell Technologies is a senior individual contributor with the responsibility to coordinate across all Dell Security & Resiliency Organization (SRO) relevant programs in order to ensure the alignment of Dell security and resiliency strategy with the broader Dell Technologies Cloud strategy. This cross-functional leader must develop trusted relationships with Dell Cloud Product teams to understand their requirements and priorities, and work with SRO program leads to define a consistent SRO product cloud roadmap.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-functional programs and possesses extensive experience working with cloud products (SaaS or IaaS). This position requires technical depth along with a variety of skills ranging from program management to product management in order to succeed.
Work with Dell Cloud product teams to define and prioritize requirements to ensure that Dell Cloud products are built and deployed in a secure, resilient and compliant manner
Partner with all stakeholders in the Security and Resiliency Organization (SRO) to ensure cloud product security requirements are integrated into all relevant SRO programs
Act as a Cloud Product subject matter expert within SRO and maintain the SRO Cloud Product roadmap
Support and track adoption of SRO Cloud Product capabilities by Dell Cloud product teams
Drive continuous improvement to SRO cloud strategy and provide recommendations to senior management on strategic issues based on technical expertise and knowledge of industry trends, combined with business needs
Define the requirements and drive the roll-out of tools that facilitate product security reporting to product organizations
Some travel is expected (approximately 1 to 2 trips per quarter, depending upon if person is located onsite or remote)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience
12+ years of sustained excellence in product engineering, product security, product management, technical program management, and/or other applicable technical field
Must have deep understanding of product security standards, as well as product requirements and customer requirements
Experience defining product security requirements
Extensive experience working with Cloud products (SaaS or IaaS)
Experience creating security strategy and roadmaps for improving the security posture of the Cloud environment
Experience partnering with product and security organizations to ensure strategic alignment of security capabilities
In-depth knowledge with Dell Technologies’ portfolio of products
Experience with enterprise class security product development for Cloud solutions: hybrid cloud, hosted cloud and/or hyper-converged infrastructure
Experience taking product offerings to the Cloud
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak confidently and credibly in public forums; ability to engage technical stakeholders on complex matters in a substantive manner while also having the ability to effectively present complex technical topics to senior non-technical audiences
Results-driven and accountability-minded; detail-oriented with a passion for technology and for solving customer problems
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities; proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a larger matrixed organization
