In April 2011, Baylor Health Care System ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n77v_rdhXzc ) and Select Medical entered into a partnership which launched Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation. Baylor chose to enter into this partnership because the core competency of BHCS was the medical aspect of the business.
