Cogent is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Field Service Controls Technician to join our team in Riverside Missouri.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work independently or as a team to service and maintain various types of electrical controls equipment typically found in the water and wastewater industry.
- Installation, Start-up and Calibration of Process Instrumentation: Flow Meters, Pressure Transmitters, Level, Temperature and Analytical Instrumentation.
- Frequently working under tight deadlines in the field and/or service center.
- Start-up, troubleshooting, retrofits and repair of control systems for pump and process control systems from basic across the line control systems to soft starters, VFD and specialty pump controllers.
- Electrical wiring, conduit and wire installations of control panels including entire service entrance equipment.
- Assists in planning, installation, repair and troubleshooting of new or modified installations for electrical systems.
- Works as an "Emergency Responder" as necessary. Must be able to travel on short notice and work outside of normal business hours when necessary.
