We are a rapidly growing and fast paced team, seeking a proactive and results-driven Content Marketing Specialist/Technical Writer to join our marketing team. The Content Marketing Specialist/Technical Writer will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with external partners, influencers, and media outlets to amplify our content reach, enhance brand visibility, and drive engagement. One of the KPIs of this position is the new backlinks generated from partnerships. The right candidate for this role is both technically inclined and strategic, with a deep understanding of content marketing best practices. We are a lean, but mighty team, and are looking for an experienced marketer who has the tenacity, vision, and passion to hit the ground running during this exciting time.
Responsibilities
- Measure and analyze outreach performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Identify and research potential content promotion opportunities, including guest blogging, partnerships, collaborations, and sponsorships.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to connect with relevant bloggers, journalists, influencers, and industry experts.
- Pitch content ideas, articles, and stories to external partners for publication on their platforms or websites.
- Negotiate terms and agreements with partners to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Coordinate content distribution and promotion efforts with internal stakeholders, including content creators, designers, and marketers.
- Monitor and track outreach campaigns, including email outreach, social media outreach, and influencer engagements.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key influencers, bloggers, and media contacts to foster long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed about industry trends, news, and events to identify timely content opportunities.
- Collaborate with the content marketing team to develop content assets and campaigns tailored to specific outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Proven experience in outreach, influencer marketing, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of content marketing best practices, SEO principles, and digital marketing tactics.
- Familiarity with outreach tools and platforms, such as email outreach software, CRM systems, and social media management tools.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for building relationships.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
