Where passion meets impact
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County, our goal is to develop our next generation of community leaders. We are proud to be the largest youth serving organization in Whatcom County and we are always looking for dedicated educators to enrich our classrooms, Clubhouses, and our community. We believe it is important for our team to reflect the diverse neighborhoods we are located in and strive to be a safe, patient place for all kids.
Our Bellingham clubhouse is actively seeking (1) Youth Development Professional that is available Monday through Friday from 2:00 - 6:30 pm.
Our part-time Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) offer engaging after-school enrichment working directly with youth from Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Our YDPs run daily programs ranging from physical movement, STEM, art, technology, and more. We work together to create a safe and nurturing environment by meeting kids where they are at. This individual will also fully embody BGCWC's DNA Culture Code and amplify it within their teams. Learn about our DNA code here: BGCWC DNA Code.
If you enjoy being in the company of elementary aged kids and want to make a difference, you've come to the right place and we look forward to meeting you!
