We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Wealth Management (WM): Wealth Management business is a leading provider of financial services to high-net worth clients through Wells Fargo Private Bank, and to the affluent segment through partnerships between Wealth Brokerage Services and the Consumer Bank. In Wealth Management, clients are provided with a complete range of solutions to help them manage, preserve and transfer their wealth.
As a part of the WM Building Exceptional Talent Development Program, acts as a Wealth Advisor (WA) to prospects, manages HNW relationships and recommends financial solutions. Leverages the experience of a Sr WA to refine WF Prvt Bank expertise in prospect identification, client acquisition, and the tailoring/delivery ofproducts, services and resources to clients based on their needs. Conveys the value proposition of WF WM to COIs, clients and prospects. Collaborates with a Sr WA to lead internal teams for WM and the Tactical Advisory Process and Client Discovery Review to gather information about prospects and clients future plans, goals, and objectives. Engages practice experts in WM LOBs to deliver products and services across the full breadth of WM/WF offerings. Prepares/delivers presentations and relationship reviews to clients under the guidance of a Sr WA when needed. Through the curriculum, partners during client relationship reviews with Financial Advisors and Investment Strategists, who present investment updates. Refers business to the appropriate partners within or outside of WM. Establishes relationships with COIs within the HNW/UHNW space. Observes successful Sr WA interactions and best practices. Participates in workshops and virtual training sessions. Ensures all appropriate measures are taken to mitigate risk.
Dedication is critical as this is a 9-12 month intensive, immersive development program, with daily curriculum and travel each month.
Strong contact with Centers of Influence including an established and extensive network in the market is preferred. Relocation is not available and position will be located in New York, NY.
This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations
5+ years of experience managing relationships of HNW clients
5+ years of experience recommending financial solutions to HNW clients
5+ years of client facing sales experience
Existing book cultivated through personal business development efforts
Working knowledge of Wealth Management products and services, including investment markets, asset allocation and portfolio principles
Connections with Centers of Influence
Knowledge and understanding of local market
A Master's degree or higher

Series 7 and 66, or equivalent, plus Life and Health Insurance licenses must be completed within a 90 or 180-day time period contingent upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. Compliance with state law requirements is mandatory.
Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.

Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary.
For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
