We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager with a proven track record in healthcare enterprise sales, particularly to hospitals, hospital systems, and within operating rooms. The ideal candidate will have strong regional experience in healthcare sales and be ready to take on a national leadership role, expanding their influence across the USA. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will play a hands-on role in a startup environment, driving revenue growth, building strategic sales plans, and managing customer relationships. The role is remote, with the location being anywhere in the USA, but will require in-person meetings with healthcare facilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy focused on hospitals, hospital systems, and operating rooms, leveraging regional expertise to meet revenue targets and grow market share.
- National Expansion: Transition from regional leadership to a national sales role, helping VSURGIC expand its footprint across the country.
- Relationship Management: Utilize strong existing relationships within healthcare systems to build trust and close high-value deals, especially with decision-makers in hospital networks.
- Hands-On Approach: As part of a startup team, the candidate will take on multiple roles, from closing deals to establishing key relationships with hospital executives and OR managers.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, while also collaborating across departments to drive company-wide initiatives.
- Revenue Growth: Develop new business opportunities, expand the customer base within hospital systems, and optimize revenue streams in line with VSURGIC’s scaling goals.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, particularly those involved in the operating room and surgical services.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capture new market opportunities within the healthcare sector, with a specific focus on operating room environments.
- Sales Operations: Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, leveraging HubSpot and other tools to manage customer relationships and sales processes effectively.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product development, and finance teams to ensure alignment between sales goals and business priorities.
- Negotiation and Contracts: Lead contract negotiations with hospitals and healthcare organizations, ensuring deals are structured to align with long-term business goals.
- Sales Training: Develop training programs to equip the sales team with the skills and knowledge needed to engage hospital systems and drive successful sales outcomes.
- Sales Technology: Leverage HubSpot and other sales tools to streamline processes, ensure data-driven decision-making, and drive operational efficiency.
- In-Person Meetings: Travel to meet with hospital executives and key stakeholders as needed to close deals and maintain strong customer relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Software: Experience selling EMR (EHR) software, such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts, Athenahealth, etc.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with at least 5 years in healthcare enterprise sales, particularly in hospital systems and operating rooms.
- Regional Experience: Proven success in a regional healthcare sales leadership role, with the readiness to expand to a national role.
- Healthcare Relationships: Strong existing relationships within healthcare systems that can be leveraged to drive sales at a national level.
- Healthcare Sales Expertise: Extensive experience selling to hospitals and hospital systems, with deep knowledge of operating room workflows.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets within the healthcare industry.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team in a fast-moving startup setting.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and make sound business decisions that balance short-term wins with long-term growth.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence C-level executives in hospital systems, particularly in the OR space.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with HubSpot and other sales automation tools. Experience in data-driven sales methodologies.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and take on new challenges in a dynamic healthcare market.
- Remote Work: Comfortable with a remote work setup, and able to travel for in-person meetings with healthcare facilities across the USA.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $12,500.00 - $15,000.00 per month
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
