Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 10 states. We believe in the dignity of every person, and in the freedom of all people to experience the highest degree of self-determination.

We are actively seeking an experienced Executive Director in Somerset County, NJ. The ED is responsible for leading the Region to ensure the development, implementation and advancement of our mission.

Job Responsibilities:
Developing local objectives and measuring progress towards corporate mission and vision.
Employ effective measurements and metrics to ensure that all services provided meets the qualifications as established by state mandated service definitions and licensing regulations.
Budget Management Including: Management of local billing practices, expenses and revenue.
Lead staff recruitment, development and maintain positive retention strategies.
Continually work to advance staff and program development, quality assurance systems, and preparations for licensing and accreditation.
Responsible for anticipating changes in the internal and external environments as associated with state agencies and planning accordingly.
Cultivating relationships within the business community to increase Business Advisory Committee participation and fundraising activities.

Knowledge/Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in related Healthcare field is preferred.
5+ years related experience in Home Community Based Service or related field, working in a management or senior management role.
Must have current experience working in community based support services with persons with developmental disabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, management ability, budget experience and be willing to roll up their sleeves.
Proficient in the allocation of staff metrics and development, knowledge of state and federal funding, marketing, fund raising and program development.
Must have an in-depth understanding of New Jersey State Licensing and Reporting standards.
Experience managing third-party & private-pay reimbursement
Proven track-record for program innovation and growth
