BIO 120: Environmental Biology
BIO 123: Principles of Biology
BIO 127: Introduction to Evolution
BIO 140: Environmental Biology w/o lab
BIO 141: Concepts in Biology
BIO 148: Introduction to Sustainability
BIO 149: Genetics and Society
BIO 161: General Biology I
BIO 162: General Biology II
BIO 210: Independent Research in Bio
BIO 222: General Botany
BIO 244: Anatomy and Physiology I
BIO 245: Anatomy and Physiology II
BIO 246: Microbiology
The courses will be taught in accordance with current program approved course descriptions, course outlines, textbooks, and syllabi.

Master’s degree in Biology, Science Education, or related OR M.D., D.O., Chiropractor or D.V.M. OR two years of tested experience in a field related to human anatomy.
BIO 244, 245:
Master’s degree in Biology or related; OR Master’s degree in another discipline and eighteen (18) graduate credits in Biology and/or Anatomy and Physiology OR M.D., D.O., Chiropractor, or D.V.M.
Master’s degree in Biology, Ecology, or related with graduate credits in ecology; OR Master’s degree in another discipline and eighteen (18) graduate credits in Biology, including the subject being taught; OR Graduate degree in Allied Health with Graduate courses in Biology.
BIO 120, 140:
Master’s Degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Earth Science;
Master’s Degree in another discipline AND eighteen (18) graduate credits in Biology, including the subject being taught
M.D., D.O., Chiropractor, or D.V.M.
BIO 123, 127, 141, 143, 161, 162, 149:
Master’s degree in Biology or related; OR Master’s degree in another discipline and eighteen (18) graduate credits in Biology including the subject being taught; OR Graduate degree in Allied Health with Graduate courses in Biology OR M.D., D.O., Chiropractor, or D.V.M..
Master’s degree in Biology, Microbiology or related with graduate credits in Microbiology OR Master’s
degree in another discipline and eighteen (18) graduate credits in Biology, including Microbiology.
Ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, gender identities, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Competency in technologies commonly used in college level instruction.
Previous college teaching experience.

This posting will be used to obtain a pool of qualified candidates. As teaching needs arise, applications will be reviewed for possible interviews. The number of adjunct faculty hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Adjunct faculty hires and assignments are coordinated by the department chairs.
