As a Senior Forming Operator at our fiber cement manufacturing facility, you will be responsible
for overseeing and executing the forming processes for our fiber cement products. This role
involves operating advanced raw material, forming, press and precut machinery, ensuring
precision and quality in product output, and leading a team to maintain efficient and effective
operations.
PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES:
The following lists the principle activities associated with the position of Senior Forming
Operator.
- Clean pipes, conveyor belts, line rollers, forming pit, trenches and grates.
- Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.
- Operate and monitor advanced raw material, forming machinery and equipment to ensure
precise and efficient forming of fiber cement products
- Adjust machine settings and parameters as required to meet production specifications
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine performance and any issues
- Monitor all rollers and conveyor belts and reports issues or concerns
- Perform round sheet checks related to forming process
- Perform all necessary quality checks and log the results
- Oversee corrective action for any deviations or defects found with dimensional or moisture
checks
- Create work orders for necessary activities
- Give alerts to floor staff for process issues
- Identify opportunities for improvements
- Identify potential safety hazards and notify correct personnel
- Change flaker ring safely as necessary
- Insert mold plates as needed

SAFETY:
- Understand and follow all safety procedures

- Perform duties according to OSHA guidelines, policies and procedures
- Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and to push-pull up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching,
and stooping.
- Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisy.
- Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
