The Client Solutions Manager position is part of the Sales, Marketing, and Relationship Management department in the Single-Family Division. The role is responsible for understanding client needs, prioritizing the needs and working across the organization to deliver solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

•Leads the development and negotiation of client requests, prioritize and propose solutions to that area innovative, thorough, and practicable. Display ability to integrate disparate objectives (e.g., customer satistifaction, loan quality, market share, profitability)
•Through consultative sales and strong project management, utilize and further develop a thorough understanding of customers’ business models and strategies, to contribute to optimizing the value of the business relationship to both the customer and Freddie Mac
•Act as a resource for Sales’ account executives to help them with the details of defining and implementing non-standard requests. Support and participate in key activities related to solving customer needs and obtaining more business from our clients to Freddie Mac
•Participate in and/or assist in various projects to provide solutions to customer needs and the purchase of business, both at the customer and initiative level
•Coordinate and support appropriate internal reporting and communication of results
•Analytical thinking: able to amass and analyze large volumes of seemingly disparate information with limited guidance
•Flexibility: ability to manage multiple efforts, deliver results quickly and adapt work plans and approaches to changing priorities
•Able to produce results with limited direction, thinking independently but working collaboratively to define and develop solutions to customer challenges and opportunities. Work is evaluated upon completion from adequacy in satisfying objectives. Interacts with both senior customer personnel and Freddie Mac management on significant technical matters requiring coordination across organizational lines

Qualifications

•Typically 8-10 years of related experience
•Experience leading a team
•Excellent customer interction skills required
•Collaborative, good communicator, team worker
•Skilled in networking for purpose of driving results
•Ability to manage and/or participate in multiple transactions, projects, and/or initiatives simultaneously
•Mortgage credit experience or knowledge required
•Mortgage pricing or capital markets knowledge preferred but not required

Preferred Skills

•Experience working in mortgage-banking
•Knowledge of the credit space
