The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for performing property showings, executing leases, coordinating property maintenance, tenant relationship management, bookkeeping, and office management work. Duties include reviewing leases and contracts with tenants, replying to tenant inquiries in person, or by phone or email, and advertising/marketing available apartment inventory. This job will also require the candidate to work closely with maintenance and projects staff to schedule repairs, projects, and organize routine maintenance checks. In addition, duties include interfacing with tenants regarding questions or concerns on their part, bookkeeping (AR/AP & account reconciliations), office organization, filing, scheduling, and purchasing of office supplies.
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Knowledge of QuickBooks or equivalent is required, knowledge of AppFolio or other property management software preferred. Degree or equivalent experience required. 3-month probationary period. Background check, credit check, drug screen required for position. Start dates of immediate up to early January are acceptable.
