PRINCIPAL CONTINUING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct plant personnel hourly hiring and registration.
Manage Bargaining Unit Health and Welfare, Pension, Disability and attendance programs.
Assist Human Resources Manager to ensure full compliance with all Company Policies, Collective Bargaining Agreement, Affirmative Action programs, EEOC guidelines, and all Federal & State regulations.
Ensure proper employee benefit plans including vacation and sick leave.
Assist HR Manager in the development and application of HR Departmental Budget.
Assist all plant operational units in achieving safety goals.
Assist Health & Safety Supervisor, as needed, in the administration of Workers' Compensation claims.
Function as HR Manager/Asst. HR Manager in his / her absence.
Ensure clean internal audit of HR procedures and record keeping requirements.
Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and corporate food safety regulatory standards.
Review and enforce company quality standards provided by facility, regional and corporate quality authorities.
Education and Requirements:
Minimum Bachelo'rs Degree required, or related field preferred
5 - 10 years of experience in HR
Knowledge of Human Resources Policies and Procedures, Federal and State Laws, Labor Relations
