Supports the General Counsel and attorneys in the Office of Legal Counsel in administrative tasks and preparing documents for clients, administrative agencies and court, engages in schedule management and develop reports and presentations


Coordinate legal department support for the Board of Directors and its subcommittees, including the preparation and distribution of board materials, drafting resolutions, consents and similar materials, and assisting in the maintenance of the corporate records applicable to the Board and its subcommittees.
Maintain corporate secretary database files of entities and directors
Prepare and submit documents necessary to ensure the companies’ compliance with state laws of licensure, incorporation and registration
Monitor the legal department’s intake system for legal services requests to ensure timely responses and return of documents from internal clients
Create and maintain contract files for all internal clients of the legal department
Create and maintain litigation related files and calendar of significant dates for each matter
Engage in fact finding and data gathering to support attorneys’ working on various projects
Maintain documentation related to document preservation notices issued by the legal department
Assist with the preparation of basic pleadings such as motions, summons, subpoenas, exhibits, resolutions, and requests and responses to discovery
Create reports for attorneys based on matter specifications and attorney requests
Utilize existing files and a variety of other research resources to develop information for pending cases
Perform legal research as requested
Lead special projects as requested
Liaise with external law firms for assistance required by them for effective representation of the companies’ interests


Must be familiar with legal terminology and general procedure in courts
Must understand different type of contracts
Must be able to multi-task and have excellent time management skills.
Must be detail-oriented and have good writing, editing and proofreading skills.
Must provide outstanding customer service.
Must be self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines
Must have a positive attitude and a professional demeanor
Must be able to communicate effectively with al levels, including executive management
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Must be able to work with international teams, including flexibility in scheduling and attending internal conference calls
