RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Lead Camp Counselor with supervising campers on the playground, in the camp room, and during arrival/dismissal & transitions
- Enthusiastically engage with campers providing support and guidance as needed
- Assist in creating activities/projects related to the weekly theme
- Assist in preparation and clean-up of lunch and activities
- Ensure that the classrom is kept clean and organized and that supplies are replenished as needed
- Implement routine cleaning/disinfecting procedures
- Toddler Assistant position requires experience working children ages 18mo – 3 years old.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Enjoys interacting with children in the specific age group of interest preferred
- Minimum age of 17
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Experience working with young children required
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
