CACI’s National and Cyber Solutions (NCS) business group is looking for a talented quality assurance engineer to help continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of solutions we deliver. You will lead the team in defining and implementing QA processes and procedures to support quarterly software releases for a DoD Program of Record. You will write test plans, document test cases and work with others testing software in preparation for customer witnessed test events.

More About this Role:
Evaluate existing QA processes and procedures and establish robust and comprehensive processes to provide high quality software releases
Serve as the Lead QA Engineer on a team tasked with building, deploying and maintaining SIGINT systems (including a Cross Domain System) for programs sponsored by a DoD organization
Mentor more junior test engineers in the execution of QA processes and procedures
Ensure quality of quarterly software releases
Identify and formalize testing strategies such as automated testing, overnight testing, sanity tests and regression testing in both and unclassified and classified environment
Assess, recommend and utilize tools and techniques including but not limited to manual testing, web assessment software, and custom scripts
Assist with providing detailed test plans, write test cases and oversee QA execution
Provide testing support for evaluations and provide specific test plans and testing services tailored to the software and systems being tested.

Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be a key member of a large solution development program, comprised of multiple teams working together to modernize and enhance existing systems and rapidly develop new mission capabilities. You will participate in all aspects of the development process, from design and planning through testing and deployment. You will work with product owners, architects, security engineers, and developers to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions. Specific responsibilities include:

Evaluate existing QA processes and procedures and establish robust and comprehensive processes to provide high quality software releases
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test procedures
Conduct test events, documenting results and tracking issue resolution
Generate test data and maintain test environments
Participate in planning, design and review events
Produce required documentation and other artifacts as needed

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline and at least 8 years of QA and/or software development experience. At least 12 years of experience is required for Associate degree holders, while only 6 years of experience is required for candidates holding a Master degree in in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline. Individuals without a degree require at least 15 years of relevant experience.

An active TS/SCI clearance is required

Required Skills:
Experience implementing QA processes and procedures
Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test procedures
Experience testing Unix/Linux based applications
Experience using testing tools for UI and performance testing (e.g. LoadRunner)
Experience using JIRA
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience using test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium)
Experience working with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
Experience testing hardware
