What Impact You Will Have:
A successful Engagement Director will contribute to our Sales Strategy Consulting Practice in execution of projects and as a thought leader on how to grow the practice. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex client solutions, managing an analytical team and owning oversight of quality control and storyline development. Applying analytical rigor & business acumen, you will formulate recommendations, translating data into meaningful insights for our clients. Additionally, you will be the primary voice to the client, managing day-to-day interactions with senior stakeholders and serving as the continuity between proposal design, delivery and execution. Travel is targeted at only 25% along with having a flexible schedule to work from home or in our downtown Chicago office.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with consistent outstanding academic record; Advanced degree or MBA is preferred
5+ years of business management or consulting experience
Demonstrated interest in sales and service strategy, customer lifecycle management, sales talent and relevant growth drivers
Proven success in working with teams and executive leadership in a complex, global company environment
Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and manage all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. This includes developing and managing project governance plans, project schedules, team goals and success criteria, project milestones, and budgets. Also includes ownership and responsibility to manage issues, risks, decisions and outcomes from their team’s tasks and activities, and the overall success of a project.
Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
A team player who effectively integrates, motivates and builds relationships with cross-functional team members (local or remote), sponsors, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with or affected by the project.

A Day in the Life:
You will lead the day to day execution of a client project while guiding and developing individual team members. They will work on key client accounts, where they will be involved in the management and coordination of multi-jurisdiction engagements. You will make an important contribution to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance approaches, developing tailor-made solutions and working closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
In addition, the successful applicant will support the central management team with business development by working on key proposals, coordinating the preparation of documentation and fees, and participating in client oral presentations.
You will partner with our CSO Insights team, a leader in sales research & data, to drive our client’s topline growth with a focus on talent management & sales strategy.
