Administers servers, desktop/laptop computers, printers, routers, firewalls, switches, mobile devices, software deployment, patch and security updates/deployment
Monitors networks to ensure connectivity, availability and security
Supports network capacity planning and innovative solutioning initiatives
Conducts site surveys to assess and document IT environment configurations and end user requirements
Troubleshoots computer and network issues and performs repairs
Supports surges and deployment initiatives
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Qualifications

4+ years’ experience performing as a network administrator
CCNA certification or higher is a plus
Proven hands-on experience with network administration and network monitoring
Proven hands-on experience with design, configuration, implementation of network systems and solutions ensuring high availability and redundancy
Knowledge and experience with firewalls, active directory
Knowledge and experience with network monitoring and protection tools/technologies
Knowledge and experience with networking protocols
Experience troubleshooting network systems
Knowledge and experience with network security at all levels of the network
Knowledge and understanding of cloud networking technologies
