Responsible for overseeing Tellers and maintaining vault and ATM(s).

Responsible for exceptional member service to every member, every time by ensuring employees deliver consistently outstanding service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with the Credit Union's Service Promises.
Develop each employee to their highest potential by identifying their areas for improvement and appropriately coaching, training, or correcting the employees' performance.
Recognize employees who perform at a high level.
Hold employees accountable for their performance, attitude, and behavior.
Meet with each employee monthly to review previous month's performance, and develop plans to improve employee's performance if needed.
Ensure that the department/branch meets sales and service goals as established by the Credit Union.
Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values, and long term objectives.
Supervise staff. Assign, direct, coordinate, and review work performed by staff.
Meet or exceed established sales and service goals.
Maintain current knowledge of all Credit Union products, as assessed by the annual product knowledge certification.
Ensure night deposit transactions are performed and audit as needed.
Interview and recommend hiring and terminating employees as needed.
Order money and ensure vault cash stays within the limits set by management.
Schedule and track Teller hours and approve for bi-weekly payroll processing.
Supervise and regulate flow of member traffic.
Balance, replenish, and maintain merchandise items.
Balance, replenish, and maintain ATM location(s).
Balance, replenish, and manage the vault, and replenish cash for Tellers.
Maintain accurate recordkeeping, under dual control, of all cash sources within assigned responsibility, in keeping with the Credit Union's procedures and policies.
Assist Tellers with balancing cash, checks, and all other merchandise items.
Assist staff and members in solving complex account or other problems.
Comply with the policies and procedures of Hoosier Hills Credit Union.
Comply with privacy issues and requirements.
Complete annual Bank Secrecy/OFAC and any related training annually as assigned by Training or Compliance Staff. Comply with all applicable BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations, policies and business practices established by Credit Union management.
Perform Teller duties as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills required for leading staff and projecting a positive image as a representative of the Credit Union to the membership.
Judgment is required to solve day-to-day problems, but usually within established guidelines.
Requires educational equivalent to a four-year high school diploma.
Requires at least six months of experience in the teller and/or member service area of a credit union or financial institution.
Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.).
Basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software and the use of the Internet.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Service Center days of operation are Monday-Saturday. Hours vary by location.
Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting.
Work requires occasionally lifting up to 35 pounds.
