Preferred Capital Securities is looking for a Salesforce CRM Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA. Preferred Capital Securities is currently distributing investment securities to the Independent Broker/Dealer and RIA channels. This position will be leading the development and maintenance the Salesforce implementation reporting to the EVP of Operations.

Responsibilities & Experience Requirements

  • Administrator for all Salesforce users
  • Responsible for daily operations of Salesforce.
  • Design and create new layouts under each of the SFDC objects.
  • Create efficient workflows, permissions, and security rules.
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards.
  • Partner with various teams to define and implement functional, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions using the Salesforce technologies
  • Train new and existing users on how to use the system and troubleshoot issues.
  • Use software tools as required to mine information for sales & marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure the data in Salesforce is continually being cleansed.
  • Responsible for the administration of all the 3rd party tools for the sales team.
  • Assist with the creation and execution of marketing emails, newsletters, and other various campaign templates using Pardot.
  • Salesforce administration and configuration, including workflows, process builder and custom object builds
  • Support newly launched applications & provide analysis of new solutions and alternatives
  • Manage third party vendors - troubleshooting, new release testing etc.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other internal and external technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
  • Stay current on Salesforce tools and best practices, as well as releases, new features, product roadmaps, and applications available from 3rd parties on the Salesforce AppExchange.
  • Analyze, prototype and help drive the adoption of new features
  • Understand Sandbox architecture and Salesforce application release management
  • Experience creating automated workflow approvals, mapping business processes and improving throughput and optimizing productivity
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and design
  • Experience using Data Loader to import/export data
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of relational data
  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce release upgrades
  • Communicates regularly with the Salesforce Business Owner, IT systems leadership,
  • In-depth understanding of Data Model, schema and application development
  • Understand Sandbox architecture and Salesforce application release management
  • Maintains high-level familiarity with other IT system /business application capabilities and scope definition to make recommendations about potential integration
  • Serves as key liaison with IT technical resources in areas related to system support for areas such as wireless, Outlook integration, etc.
  • Develops ad-hoc reports as requested by user groups or stakeholders, performs analysis on data as required
  • Proficient in Lightning Platform and capabilities
  • Manages all security settings and conduct regular security/configuration audits
  • Manages all new user set-ups and deactivation, including transferring ownership of accounts/contacts/opportunities for deactivated users
  • Regularly audits data to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement
  • Performs manual or automated data entry/data clean-up as required
  • Maintains updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures
  • Develops and maintains naming conventions of picklists, report folders, dashboards, improve system usability
  • Creating and managing email and mail merge templates
  • Creating and modifying list views, custom fields and picklists


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years experience with as an administrator
  • Should have a minimum of 2 years marketing experience in a B2B environment
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator, and Advanced Administrator
  • Expert level skills related to Microsoft Office products, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate quickly with others in an open workspace
  • Knowledge of Call center operations and associated technologies
  • Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Pardot & Analytics
  • Execution minded – someone who makes and keeps commitments
  • Proven track record of effective project management delivering end-to-end solutions
  • Strong time management, planning, and prioritization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience interacting and communicating with a nationally distributed sales team
  • The desire to work and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Must have a sense of urgency and self-motivation
  • APEX, Visualforce knowledge a plus
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 2 years of work experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Related field preferred
