Industrial Automation Sales Manager

Cimon Inc. is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Representative in Henderson, Nevada (RELOCATION PACKAGE PROVIDED: Housing & moving costs) to manage the sale of industrial automation products. You will provide appropriate products or solutions to customers by building relationships and understanding them. You will create sales and growth strategy toward key customers. You will identify opportunities and utilize your product knowledge to deliver value proposition to the customers. You will increase the overall performance of the organization by creating strong customer relationships. You will help develop and increase Cimon presence in the market.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

· Full-time position

· Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM

Travel Requirements:

· You may be required to travel to cities around the world for a short duration to meet with distributors, participate in exhibitions, and to provide training with Cimon products.


  • Prospect for potential customers through various direct and indirect methods.
  • Qualify prospects against company provided criteria for ideal customers and sales.
  • Increase sales through in-depth knowledge of products and applications to help customers solve problems.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with distributors.
  • Understand customer needs intimately and work with Cimon team members to investigate and offer solutions that resolve issues, and replicate the solutions.
  • Work with Cimon’s engineers to develop solutions that address customer needs.
  • Optimize sales coverage by creating a development plan and conducting market analysis.
  • Establish target sales goals for distributors and create a mutual action plan.
  • Conduct reviews with assigned distributors to review progress.
  • Coordinate sales efforts, administer distributor leads, and manage the transition of accounts and business where it is deemed necessary.
  • Makes joint sales calls with distributors where there is significant opportunity for Cimon.
  • Complete assigned reporting activities in a timely manner.
  • Keep up to date on market and industry trends.
  • Represent Cimon in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in sales of industrial automation or similar products.
  • Three (3) years of experience managing distributors or distribution channel.
  • Sales experience with some or all of the following products: Motion Control (Servos, Drives, Controllers and Motors), PLC/HMI (hardware, software and interfaces), Components (Sensors, Relays and Switches), and SCADA software.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis to determine business opportunities.
  • Energetic, aggressive, focused and a highly motivated self-starter.
  • Strong relationship builder and a strong personal desire to win.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally with strong organizational skills.
  • Team player mentality but able to work independently as required.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to direct and influence a sales pursuit to a conclusion.
