This high level position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for assisting in the collection, analysis, documentation, and dissemination of service and performance data in cooperation with other Subject Matter Experts in support of Palm Tran's Strategic initiatives to identify operating efficiencies and improve customer service. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering regular reports, providing management support in the area of complex statistical analysis, performance measurement and service compliance review for Executive Director and the Executive Leadership Team. This is a hands on position where substantial judgment, flexibility and initiative are essential for addressing challenges and making recommendations with regard to effectively using performance based management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Math/Operations Research, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Business administration or related field; five (5) years of management experience, with at least one(1) year advanced level experience in data analysis or data research; or an equivalent combination of related training and experience sufficient to carry out the duties of the position.

PREFERENCES:
Master’s Degree in Economics, Math/Operations Research, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Business or similar field; experience in public sector transportation industry and/or transit organization; excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; experience with specialized software used to facilitate statistical analysis is preferred.
