Marine/Natural Resource Science Intern:
Assist marine and natural resource project teams assess project biological data, assist in report preparation, support field sampling and field biological data collection. Background in marine biology or natural resources, wetlands science and environmental science. Ability to work in office on reports and data as well as in field surveys, boat surveys and/or wetland investigations required.
- Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
- Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
- Intern 2 – completion of second year of qualified study
A/AS (US) + 1 YORE or Diploma/Certification (Canada) + 1 YORE
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Completion of third year of qualified study
Experience with data collection in a field environment (terrestrial, coastal or marine)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Suite experience
