Description:Position Overview:
The Fleet Analyst position will process financial, operational, and compliance data to perform analysis and reporting for various Fleet and DOT programs and projects. The Fleet Analyst will also perform database transactions and updates to maintain the various Fleet applications and reporting systems and also support several process automation and improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions:
Analysis and Reporting:
Perform data life-cycle (DLM) activities to maintain accurate data stores
Identify, collect, transform, and integrate data from external and internal systems
Perform database queries to mine and extract data for analysis and reporting
Gather end-user requirements and design and develop custom analysis and reporting
Support development team in creating online KPI dashboards and reports
Support field operators with data and reports to properly execute objectives and strategies

Program and Projects Administration:
Perform various program administration – vehicle registration, maintenance, fuel cards, etc.
Identify process gaps and evaluate and implement solutions to automate and improve

Other Functions:
Perform department ad-hoc purchasing and payment transactions
Support the development team with requirements gathering and user interface designs
Support the development team in testing and implementation
Perform department website content updates
Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelors in Business Administration or Information Systems Preferred

Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and other office applications
Experience in data analysis and reporting
Experience in using web-based transaction systems and reporting
Some experience or willing to learn statistical programming
