Job Description & Responsibilities

The Client Advisor supports Client Lead Advisors and facilitates other internal team members, clients, and other external advisors. The role is a team-oriented position focused on ensuring accuracy and completeness of client deliverables, identifying planning opportunities, and implementing client decisions.

This position covers a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Coordinate the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements as well as other analytical reports.
  • Oversee and efficiently address all routine client matters such as bill payment, tax filings, investment documentation, cash management, and more.
  • Communicate proactively with outside investment advisors, tax preparers, estate planning attorneys, and insurance agents.
  • Assist in preparation of client meetings, attend client meetings, and support with the follow through of action items.
  • Present an aptitude and desire to learn various planning disciplines such as estate and gift planning, charitable giving, cash flow/budgeting, income tax, family governance, and risk management.

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with general ledger and database applications such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV, CRM and QuickBooks

The position requires 2+ years of prior accounting experience, preferably at a Big 4, a large regional accounting firm or a family office. A CPA designation is desired but not required. Other advanced degrees or related financial professional designations are beneficial.
