Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse duties including receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory counts
- Package and build orders according to customer specifications
- Operate order picker and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to ensure smooth operations in the distribution center
- Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques
- Utilize AS400 system for order processing and tracking
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
- Experience working in a warehouse setting
- Ability to accurately package and build orders
- Proficiency in operating order picker and other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with distribution center operations
- Strong physical stamina to load and unload heavy items
- Knowledge of AS400 system is a plus
- Understanding of OSHA safety regulations
