We are looking for a IoT Platform Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to our Industrial IoT software platform project in terms of implementation, new feature and solution development. You’ll get a chance to engage in real-world deployments in manufacturing facilities at scale. Responsibilities:
Contribute to ongoing software development and maintenance of a resilient, secure, and efficient IoT platform.
Automate software deployment, monitoring, management and incident response
Work in a cross-disciplinary team with software, network, sensing and domain experts and be able to understand and build upon previous design and architecture and add differentiators.

Qualifications

Bachelors or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with at least 2 years of industry experience in software development.
Fluency in several programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Javascipt,
Experience in database systems (esp. time series database such as Influxdb/Elasticsearch) and visualization systems (Grafana, Kibana)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Node-Red and Node-JS.
Experience in IoT data transport protocols (e.g. MQTT, RabbitMQ, HTTPS, CoAP, REST, Websockets).
Experience in Linux and shell scripting.
Experience with Git and agile software development process.
Experience in a configuration management and automation tools is a plus (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)
Experience in networking concepts and technologies is a plus (e.g. TCP/IP stack, VLAN, Overlay network (GRE, VXLAN), VPN tunnel, Load-balancing, Firewall and WAN technologies.
Prior experience with Industrial IoT applications and architecture including Cloud/Edge functionalities is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
