Rayito De Sol Spanish Immersion Early Learning Center is a leading multicultural and educational institution that supports families and their children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old with comprehensive Spanish language and cultural immersion. We go beyond childcare with a curriculum designed to foster positive self-esteem, self-confidence, competence, interpersonal skills and language comprehension.
Rayito de Sol is looking for a passionate and committed bilingual (Spanish/English) professional to be a Teacher for Infant, Toddler and Preschool level classes. Potential candidates must be organized, detail-orientated, self-motivated, reliable, and able to lead in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a student’s general comprehension and understanding of the Spanish language and Latino culture as well as teaching general age-appropriate concepts and skills in an environment that is nurturing, safe, and respectful.
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social and emotional development by promoting positive interactions and conflict resolution.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to families.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
Qualifications
- Spanish Verbal Communication Skills required
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in ECE or related field, preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
- Previous Childcare teaching experience, preferred
- Current First-Aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of DCFS Rule 407 and NAEYC standards, preferred
