Job Summary
The Psychiatric-mental Health Nurse Practitioner will work in a dynamic healthcare setting, providing specialized care to patients with mental health disorders. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care.
Duties
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols in clinical settings
Skills
- Proficiency in patient assessment and psychiatric evaluation
- Experience working in inpatient or assisted living facilities
- Knowledge of IV insertion and tube feeding procedures
- Ability to provide care in a teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with ophthalmology and dermal fillers is a plus

Pay: $130,018.00 - $158,878.00 per year
