The Business Analyst will work with an in a team of economists, statisticians, actuaries, software developers, and other healthcare professionals to support the sales and retention of national accounts with advanced analytical tools, methods, and services! The Business Analyst will support the development and operations of products and services that demonstrate the strength and economic value of the organization.

  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating Business Analyst skills’ including the understanding of functional analysis for specific applications within the SDLC.
  • Excellent listening and analytical skills, facilitation skills, organizational skills, and the ability to lead people and help them through the challenges of change within a complex environment.
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting.
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a closely related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with clients and other consultants to formulate plans outlining steps required to develop the program, uses structured analysis and design. And submits to end-users for approval.
  • Conducting business needs analysis against existing technology and supporting processes to determine if area of focus is IT or business-related.
  • Assisting business units in process definition and act as a consultant to improve business processes.
  • Collaborating with business units, other technology areas, and vendors to identify alternative solutions and translate operational needs into IT specifications.
  • Assembling and presenting business requirements, functional specifications, and project statements.
  • Monitoring activities of assigned projects to ensure projects remain on schedule and within approved scope/budget.
  • Communicating the status of each phase for assigned projects to management on a scheduled basis.
  • Executing formal change management process to adjust project scope, budget or schedule as needed.
  • Perform modeling of business and system processes based on findings through use-case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models.
  • Collaborating with third-party vendors to resolve project or support issues.
  • Researching/analyzing current/emerging technologies/vendor services in support of business priorities and objectives.
