Provides management and administration of contracts and proposals for KP National Facilities Services organization involved in construction of new and/or retrofit hospital buildings and other medical facilities. Responsible for construction contract formation, contract administration and change order management activities for all architect/engineering and construction contracts related to a $3+ billion dollar per year capital spending program.

Essential Functions:
Reviews solicitations and prepares routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications. Analyzes contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to determine compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and NFS procedure.
Drafts and negotiates simple contractual instruments commensurate with skills and position level. Communicates contract policy and practice to NFS project teams. Ensures contract review, approval and execution in accordance with corporate and/or NFS guidelines.
Prepares and administers routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documenting contract performance and compliance. May conduct research to support contract audit and/or facilitate NFS contracting trends. Performs contract closeout activities.
Assists mid- to high-level contract professionals in working with internal or external project teams on issues and developments relative to assigned contracts.
