A Talent & Learning Manager within Accenture’s Talent & Organization practice will work on and lead a wide variety of types of projects. These may range from working on Agile Organization programs by leading training teams as part of larger integrated organizational change teams, to driving on learning transformation as part of Future Workforce programs or leading more targeted learning transformation programs. A Talent & Learning Manager has the following responsibilities:
Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers across client organization
Consistently bring new tools, ideas, and thought leadership to clients
Quickly estimate and develop agile, iterative strategies for implementing project work and/or recommendations with limited guidance from Accenture supervisor
Use agile methods to deliver value quickly to the client
Develop and manage project budgets
Lead medium-sized, virtual, global, diverse teams
Articulate value propositions and then measure achievement of strategic, financial and operational benefits
Utilize functional and industry knowledge to reframe complex client issues and bring fresh solutions
Develop and present compelling cases for change in a way that is creative and inspiring
Plan and lead training teams through various training phases, such as, training need analysis, training strategy, curriculum design, training development, training delivery, post training support, and value measurement
Plan and lead learning transformation teams through various transformation phases, such as, talent strategy, competency assessment, digital learning and development strategy, training needs analysis, curriculum design, learning path development, learning operations operating model, learning platform deployment, and learning ROI analysis
Actively collaborate with Accenture leadership to develop opportunities to deliver value to new or existing clients
Minimum 5-7 years of external consulting experience or other relevant experience related to successful delivery of talent and learning solutions
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in three or more of the following areas: Talent Strategy, Operating Model & Job Design, Capability/Talent Assessment, Curriculum Strategy & Design, Training Needs Assessment & Training Deployment, Rapid Workforce Reskilling, Instructional Design, Learning Analytics / Training ROI Analysis, or Learning Management Systems & Digital Learning Tools/Platforms.
Minimum 3 years of project management experience
Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 100%
Ability to develop trusted client relationships
Ability to innovate and challenge norms
Agile work style, open to iteration and flexible to change approach/direction and incorporating feedback
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively and creatively in a group setting
Ability to generate new, creative approaches to solve problems and create opportunities
Proven ability to utilize data and analytics to drive new insights
Focus on value creation
Proven ability to build, manage and foster a diverse team
Ability to connect with people around a sense of purpose and shared goals to motivate and inspire
Knowledge of innovative work styles such as Design Thinking or similar methods for driving creative thought
Large-scale and/or global transformation experience
Clear and compelling communicator
Excellent leadership, management, planning, and organization skills
Experience managing a thriving virtual team
Understanding of and/or have experience with driving innovation in various working environments
Understanding of industry/workforce trends and drivers for Communications and High-Tech clients
