The Chemical Biology group is seeking a pharmacologist with experience leading small molecule phenotypic screening projects. Experience interrogating compound effects on phenotypes of interest is required. A successful candidate will be able to design cell-based experiments using genetic and pharmacological manipulation of pathways and proteins in relevant systems to validate novel targets and characterize molecular mode of action of tool compounds. Preference will be given to a candidate with a chemical biology background, high content imaging and/or 3D cellular culture and assay development experience. The successful applicant will have experience managing scientists, a track record of achievement leading projects, and independently designing and executing experiments. A Ph.D. in Biology or equivalent with 8 or more years of industrial experience is required.
