A Little Bit About the Position
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact while supporting others? As a Voucher Case Specialist I at Gemini Legal, you'll be instrumental in assisting injured workers in utilizing their Supplemental Job Displacement Benefits (SJDB) vouchers. Your role involves identifying and coordinating retraining opportunities, communicating with accredited schools to facilitate enrollment, and managing a caseload of up to 125 cases. You'll also handle communication with claims adjusters and applicant attorneys, and submit invoices for payment. Location: Fully remote within California (must be a California resident)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Compensation: $17.79-$23.56/hour
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
-
1-2 years of call center, collections, sales, or social work experience desired

Bilingual required (Spanish/English)

Previous industry experience in workers' compensation is preferred, but not required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent process adherence and time management skills

Ability to work both independently and with team collaboration

Employ excellent time management in balancing and handling multiple cases concurrently

Identify and manage issues as they arise and develop a course of resolution

Ability to follow processes to ensure standardization

Demonstrate accuracy and consistency within work assignment

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, attendance, dress code and professionalism

Proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs including Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
Functional Requirements
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation including but not limited to:
