As the Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will focus on pipeline candidates for our most critical positions; educating the talent attraction team on the labor market and activity with our competition. The Talent Sourcing Specialist will focus on a few specific positions across all operating groups and service lines as well as building a pipeline for all service lines.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
In every call, act as brand ambassador for Terracon
Work with TA team to create, pitch and enhance the employee valuation proposition
Work with talent attraction team to identify top hiring needs
Conduct active searches on approximately 6 to 9 current open positions
Attend intake meeting with TA team, (with or without hiring manager)
Create sourcing plan and review with TA team
Timely submission of candidates on open positions
Track number of candidates contacted and candidate response
Track candidate source – Indeed, LinkedIn, industry boards, internet research, etc.
Track average number days to fill
Track number of requisitions assigned during the year
Follow up with pipelined candidates on a regular basis – quarterly or bi-annually
Research current labor market and competitor activity and report to TA team. This information will be used in monthly executive summary, when appropriate, and to keep the service line and operations aware of current market
Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Maintain quality standards on all projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and a minimum of four years’ experience in sourcing or recruitment, preferably in A/E/C industry. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight years’ experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of research methods (Boolean, AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Chrome extensions, etc.)
Demonstrated experience in building and organizing talent pipeline for engineering disciplines
Ability to communicate Terracon’s employee value proposition and employment brand
Demonstrated use of talent market insights and data to influence sourcing strategies
Experience with Talent Acquisition processes and systems such as Applicant Tracking Systems and CRMs
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
LinkedIn, AIRS or other sourcing certifications preferred
