Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Director of Marketing with departmental organization and functionality
Actively participate and assist in execution of marketing and promotional events on and off-site
Manage internal event planning communication using Delphi software
Develop and maintain a digital photo library for easy use in advertising
Book all paid entertainment for promotional calendar while staying within a strict budget
Assist in race day execution of events including but not limited to equipment set up, performance scheduling, load in/out)
Manage purchasing and detailed inventory of promotional materials and supplies used in marketing efforts
Complete check requests for paid vendors and entertainment as needed
Responsible for data entry and general upkeep and segmentation of customer information
Responsible for screening and booking National Anthem performers and color guards
Serve as escort for upper level guests’ contribution to event content
Assist Marketing Department with administrative needs
Assist with production notes for events
Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure an efficient and steady flow of information to other departments and external partners
Serve as the point of contact for multiple accounts, answering phones and emails
Organize and prepare reporting data to ensure all records are kept in compliance
File paperwork with Purchasing Manager & Director of Marketing
Implement and monitor programs as directed by management, and see the programs through to completion
Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed
Other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Experience:
  • College degree required with emphasis in Marketing, Sports Management, Public Relations, Communications or equivalent
  • 1-2 years prior experience in event marketing, digital marketing, communications, social media marketing
  • Experience managing multiple projects and working within aggressive deadlines
  • General accounting experience; able to handle cash and credit card transactions, follow a budget and balance a bank account
  • Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to quickly learn required ticketing software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.


1-2 years: Event Marketing, digital marketing, communications, social media marketing.
