Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in consumer and ecosystem marketing.
Experience distilling market and user behavior down to core elements.
Experience in the mobile industry, working with carrier/hardware marketing.
Knowledge of product marketing, including user research, strategic planning, crafting positioning/messaging, and developing go-to-market strategies.
Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with a diverse range of internal and external partners.
Ability to have insights and solve user problems with product.
Ability to influence at multiple levels of an organization.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll help bring this vision to life, basing your suggestions on real user needs. You’ll work alongside Product, Business Development, PR, UX and UX Research teams to help build compelling products for users, as well as collaborate with carriers and partners across the mobile ecosystem.
You’ll be a collaborator, thinker and builder in this role, developing consumer positioning, industry communications and marketing programs that reflect a deep understanding of the mobile ecosystem and a strong grasp of both consumer and partner needs.

Lead every facet of the product's journey, from determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization to external communications.
Own strategy and production for core product marketing assets such as website, product videos, blog posts, case studies and more.
Develop multi-touch demand generation and engagement campaigns which may consist of digital marketing, webinars, direct mail, or in person events.
Build scalable programs in partnership with internal teams and trade organizations globally.
Analyze and distill data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
