Founded in 1975, the Western Regional Examining Board’s (WREB) mission is to develop and administer competency assessments for state agencies that license dental professionals. WREB is an independent 501(c)6, membership organization with 20 full-time staff and 400 volunteer examiners who have a demonstrated commitment to the mission and passion for the core values of WREB. Due to WREB’s continued growth over the last 10 years, we are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Phoenix. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to make an immediate impact on WREB’s mission and contribute to achieving our strategic goals.
Position requires: a proven self-starter with superior organizational skills; positive attitude; strong customer service; ability to prioritize multiple complex projects and work under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and an orientation to detail. High level of comfort with technology required, including intermediate user skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Desktop publishing experience a plus.
Experience supporting committees and taking detailed minutes required. Successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and an interest in process improvement. Five years administrative experience and degree preferred. Understanding of dental terminology a plus. Event and/or travel planning and supervisory experience helpful. Willingness to work weekends up to 20% of time and some out of state travel required.
