The Proposal Specialist reports to and takes direction from the Senior Proposal Manager, and works collaboratively with the entire Marketing Team, Sales Development Directors, and Project Engineers. The Proposal Team engages with all groups in the firm, providing proposal development services (including layout and graphics editing), assisting with proposal strategy, and creating/editing descriptive content and value-narratives for our services. Collaboration is the key to the success of this position.

Essential Job Functions:
Assist with the development and delivery of large, strategic, and complex Supply Chain and Material handling integration project proposals, through:
Final proposal production including content editing, graphics, media, printing, binding, and delivery in compliance with customer requirements.
Application of brand and corporate graphic standards to proposal materials.
Graphic design, layout, and creation of auxiliary materials such as charts
Development of digital proposal material libraries and resources for company-wide use.
Maintenance and systematic organization of digital material libraries.
Partner with Business Development and Project Engineers to produce marketing and presentation material for customer meetings, seminars, and conferences.
Assist with capture, tracking, entry, and maintenance of customer and project data.
Assist with research aimed at cultivating new avenues of proposal lead development.
Update and monitor the proposal calendar and database tracking project status.
Coordinate and prepare other qualifications, presentations or interview materials including writing, formatting, and reproduction.

Job Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for majors in Communications, GraphicDesign, English, Journalism, Marketing, or similar.
Some experience with engineering proposal development and production Preferred.
Exposure to RFP/RFQ process and proposals Preferred.
Required: Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite software proficiency: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat.
Willingness and aptitude for learning new technologies.
Video editing experience preferred.
Data management skills, including CRM experience, Preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, computer, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational, project, time management, and resource planning skills.
