Job Title – Forecast Analyst

General Responsibilities:
The Forecast Analyst is responsible to support the Demand Planning Manager in conducting monthly forecast intelligence meetings with Sales and Marketing and Supply Chain counterparts as well as to support and maintain forecast process and desired frequencies for key customers/categories. In addition, the Forecast Analyst is responsible to support development of and to publish key forecast accuracy metrics, utilize root cause analysis and corrective action planning to improve forecast accuracy, required to develop and run ad-hoc scenario analyses as needed.

Examples of Typical Activities

Develop and publicize forecast metrics and reports
Analyze business trends and adjust forecast as needed. Including promotional evaluation
Work closely with internal cross-functional team. Attend Sales and Marketing meetings as needed to understand Evenflo direction.
Drive the demand review meetings
Develop baseline forecast
Understand Sales adders to the forecast and determine if they should be accepted and added to the forecast
Communicate unexpected increases or decreases in demand to Supply Chain
Participate in S&OP process
Travel as required to meet with account planners / business analyst
Develop relationship with replenishment managers at key retailers
Maintain data integrity

Required Experience

Bachelor’s Degree required; 3-5 years of experience in Demand/Production Planning. Category/Sales Analytics

Required Technical Competencies

Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Intermediate/Advanced level user of Microsoft Office Suite – particular focus on Excel (important)
MRP or ERP system knowledge a must
Web/Internet understanding

Desired Technical Competency:
Retail system exposure (Retail link, Workbench, Partners On-Line)
