Coordinates the organization’s social media program and content marketing efforts while keeping up-to-date on new social trends and tactics.
Creates targeted & engaging content for multiple social media marketing channels including regular blog posts, contests, infographics, slideshows, videos, etc.
Manages, monitors, and maintains all primary Travis Credit Union social media properties and the content marketing calendar.
Continually finds ways to increase the number of members following us and engaging with us in our primary social channels.
Measurably elevates our brand and brand-engagement via social media channels.
Reports directly to the Creative Services Manager.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Uses social media to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our website, physical branch, and/or other social media channels.
Creates content for regular blog posts, videos, infographics, etc.
Partners with e-Commerce staff to ensure tracking and measurement of the effectiveness of social programs.
Meets weekly with Creative Service Manager to discuss and recommend social strategies, promotions, results and engagement tactics.
Maintains the social media content calendar. Writes, reviews and edits search-optimized copy for financial education blog posts.
Submits professional and timely responses to comments and posts.
Keeps up-to-date on social trends and best practices to implement strategies and tactics to grow and improve our social presence.
Stay apprised of emerging social media technologies, trends and industry news that align with the brand’s marketing and business goals.
Backs up writer with traditional marketing campaigns.
Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft Office.
Experience with lead nurturing software such as SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Hootsuite, Hubspot, Marketo, and/or Pardot. Adobe creative Suite experience a plus.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Strong organization skills.
Thorough understanding of Credit Union products, services and overall operation and mission, and the ability to promote the credit union.
Promotes teamwork and works professionally and effectively with all departments and branches.
Detail oriented and ability to use independent judgment and decision making. Ability to self-direct in managing day-to-day tasks within specified timeframes.
BA/BS in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience coordinating an organization’s social strategy, content, and calendar.
