Primary Therapist
Lido Wellness Center is hiring for a Primary Therapist position. The Primary Therapist conducts biopsychosocial assessments, develops treatment plans, facilitates individual and group psychotherapies, and provides clinical support to the program as needed. You will orient new patients to the treatment program and support and advocate for them during their treatment. Success in this role requires effective communication and collaboration in a clinical team environment. As a treatment team member, the Primary Therapist meets with the team weekly to collaborate on cases.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.
- Works as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team while utilizing independent judgment, strong initiative, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ensures that professional and compassionate care is provided
- Complete biopsychosocial assessment, treatment plan, and discharge plan within the required timeline
- Facilitate individual and group psychotherapy
- Develop and create group material as needed
- Document clinical services in EMR within 24 hours of session completion
- Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
What You Bring:
- A Master’s or Doctorate degree from a nationally recognized and accredited graduate school of social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology
- Current license in good standing with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Services
- A minimum of two years of experience in mental health, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal, active listening, EQ) and the ability to build relationships to achieve optimal outcomes
- A professional manner, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and interdependently
- Understanding of and adherence to HIPAA and CARF compliance and privacy measures/requirements

The Fine Print: Physical Demands / Requirements & Work Conditions:
This position frequently requires sitting for extended periods of time (greater than 1 hour) and relies upon you to take frequent stretch breaks. This position occasionally requires lifting and carrying of materials (5-25 pounds). The ability to talk, hear, and see are key components of this role (with or without accommodation).

Pay: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
