Einstein Physicians Montgomery is our primary care network providing care to individuals of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. Our network of physicians includes Family Practice doctors, Internists, Obstetricians, Gynecologists and Pediatricians. Our practice sites are located throughout Northwest, North and Northeast Philadelphia, Norriton, Eastern Montgomery County and Lower Bucks County. Einstein Healthcare Network promotes wellness. In this role you will be responsible for:
Assessing patients over the telephone to determine the most appropriate course of action
Functioning with a qualified physician and utilizing the physicians' direction within the framework of all approved medical protocols as directed by Fornance Physician Services, Inc
Working with physicians, Practice Manager, and other staff members to promote a harmonious work environment
Ensuring that all contacts with patients, the public, families, insurance companies, employers, attorneys, physicians, and coworkers are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner
Answering telephone in a prompt and polite manner
Displaying concern and providing assistance as appropriate to callers or in face-to-face situations
Performing duties and conduct interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project a positive image of Einstein Physicians Montgomery

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:
RN or LPN degree required
1 - 3 years experience in medical practice or hospital setting required
Excellent patient relations skills required
Experience in proper documentation/recording of medical information into progress notes required
Experience with phlebotomy, injections and immunizations required
2 - 4 years experience in a medical practice as a telephone triage nurse preferred
Working knowledge of universal precautions (open wounds/infectious diseases) required
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations required
Ability to work with peers in team situations, ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures, demonstrates a learning attitude toward solving problems, and takes initiative to help others required
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding guidelines required

Physical Demands:
Physical Requirements: Sitting, walking, reaching, pulling, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, lifting (up to 10 lbs.)
Visual Requirements: 20/20 vision (with/without corrective lenses)
Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear normal conversations
Working Conditions: Normal hospital clinical settings with high noise and activity; possible exposure to radiation, hazardous chemicals and bio-hazardous blood and body fluids
