Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for 1-2 part time Basic MEDIC First Aid/CPR and HAMMER Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor opportunities to support the Hanford Site HAMMER Facility in Richland, WA.
Title of Scope: PROVIDE INSTRUCTORS FOR HAMMER TRAINING (RFP 343751)
1-2, Part-Time, Instructor Support for the Basic MEDIC First Aid/CPR and HAMMER Bloodborne Pathogens training programs. Instructors do not have to be skilled and experienced to train in ALL of the Basic MEDIC First Aid/CPR and HAMMER Bloodborne Pathogens training program areas listed below; they can be skilled and experienced to train in just a single training topic.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
General: Demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques, adult education methods, and applying the Systematic Approach to Training through training or experience.
Basic MEDIC First Aid/CPR and HAMMER Bloodborne Pathogens Program Specific:
Have current MEDIC First Aid Instructor Card authorized to teach First Aid/CPR/AED and are in good standing with the Health and Safety Institute
SUBCONTRACTOR INSTRUCTOR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
General Desired Qualifications:
Previous technical instructor experience
Previous experience performing this specific training or be approved to participate in on-the-job training by the HAMMER individual identified by the BTR
Experience on the Hanford site will improve the ability of the individual(s) to complete the necessary activities
Basic use of Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment
Comfortable speaking in front of groups
Basic use of Microsoft Office suite
Strong customer service skills
Strong presentation skills, including presenting to a diverse student population; i.e., professional, bargaining unit, and management, etc.
Basic MEDIC First Aid/CPR and HAMMER Bloodborne Pathogens Program Specific:
- Previous practical work experience applying knowledge in Basic MEDIC First Aid, CPR, AED, and/or Bloodborne pathogen subject matter
